The Beartooth Pass, Chief Joseph Pass, Wyoming badlands and the friendly Bearcreek hill back into Red Lodge. Fully supported, includes hotels and route support. We are partnering with Samurai Sue's for healthy "gourmet" lunches; post ride appetizers and beverages from By All Means Brew Lab. This is not a ride for beginners. View Route, permit pending.
Why is this called the A-B Challenge? You will be riding directly through the CusterGallatin Absaroka-Beartooth National Forest. The AB Wilderness is home to the highest peak in Montana, Granite Peak, features high plateaus and glacier lakes. The blustery winds can bring sunshine, sleet, snow or rain. So if the mileage and elevation is easy for you, the environment can still challenge you.
This tour will be limited to 50 cyclists.
Hotel accommodations are included in your registration for August 18, 19 and 20. Upon your finish in Red Lodge on August 21, you will need to make your own accommodations.
Bike shipping logistics are handled by Bike Flights.
Breakfast, lunch and route food will be provided and catered by local bakeries and caterers. Breakfast will be provided at the start area each morning, lunch will be on the route or at the finish line.
We will also provide Torq Fueling Products.
Dinner will be on your own each night, so enjoy the local fare and explore!

WyMont A-B Challenge is exactly that - you'll have three big days of riding. Long mountain passes followed up by Wyoming badlands. you'll have everything from high altitude cold to desert-like heat.
As with all events in 2021, we will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and operate based on the safety guidelines in place.
If you must cancel a trip due to COVID-19 we will work with you to to refund or transfer 100% of your payment.

Fly in using the Billings Logan International Airport.
Parking will be provided in Red Lodge if you need to leave a car for the week.
Shuttles and parking will be confirmed in June 2021.
Your accommodations are included for Wednesday, August 18 (Red Lodge), Thursday, August 19 (Cooke City) and Friday, August 20 (Cody). Base registration price is a double occupancy. We encourage you to let us know as soon as possible if you have a roommate that will be on the ride so we can be sure to make proper arrangements. If you book the ride and do not add-on a single room fee we will be contacting you to discuss roommate preferences. Email your roommate request.
Red Lodge Hotel accommodations will be provided by the Yodeler and Alpine. Cooke City accommodations will be provided by High Country Inn and Super 8 Hotel. Cody accommodations will be provided by Carter Mountain Motel and Green Gables.
