montana road tour
August 9-13, 2021 (Packet pick up August 8)
Montana Road Tour, the Continental Divide Route. Take on five days and approximately 350 miles of big riding through some of Montana's best roads.
Begin in Butte Montana; overnight in Jackson Hot Springs for two nights. On Day 2, ride to the historical ghost town, Bannack State Park. Enjoy a second night of soaking in Jackson. Ride through the Pioneer Scenic Byway to Dillon, Montana. Optional ride on Day 4 exploring Southwest Montana. Paved Roads, hotel accommodations, fully supported route and baggage service. Limited camping options will be available. Advanced & Intermediate riders only. Check out the route here, permit pending. The tour will be limited to 125 cyclists, with a maximum of 150 possible should accommodations allow.

Baggage service is included in your registration. Baggage service will be provided to the listings below in each town. Should you book something outside of our selected partners, your luggage may not make it to your next destination. Please book accordingly and make proper arrangements.
Important notes before jumping into booking:
- In Butte we will be parking cars Friday evening and EARLY Monday morning at US High Altitude Speed Skating Center. Drop luggage here or at selected hotels. Official start area will be at Butte Chamber of Commerce where breakfast will be available. It is a 4 mile ride on road and bike path to get to the start from parking. The Chamber is 1.5 miles from the Finlen.
- In Jackson we will be using Jackson Hot Springs as our start and finish area however the Bunkhouse is right across the street - Jackson is all of about 4 blocks long!
- In Dillon we will be using the Bike Walk Southwest Montana Bike Camp as our start and finish area.
- Upon your final finish in Butte on Friday, An Ri Ra Festival will be going on in Butte August 13 - 15. If you plan to stay in Butte on Friday, make your reservations sooner than later. The An Ri Ra Irish Festival is highly recommended! Plan to stay and play!
- Should you choose to be a camper, make sure you have the proper items - there will not be anyone with "extra" gear. Camp areas selected have access to water, showers and bathrooms.

Jackson, MT - Rooms are sold out at the Bunkhouse and Jackson Hot Springs locations but camping has plenty of room. You will still have access to the hot springs at no additional cost. Grasshopper Inn is a shuttle to Polaris but has a few openings.
